Aidon strengthens its software and service business
The availability of real time data as well data management and processing are increasingly significant in energy metering and distribution network management. In response to this, we have developed a technology platform which enables entirely new kind of smart and automated metering, analytics and management services.
Now we are strengthening our team of experts to implement the software and service solutions supporting our customers’ business.
Ville Häkkinen has been appointed Software Business Owner, responsible for development paths and productisation of Aidon’s software and application products.
– I started at Aidon on October 11th, which was a great time, because I got to meet a whole group of colleagues returning to the office after the period of remote work. During the first few days, I found out that the team is really knowledgeable and full of enthusiasm. The spirit for design and development work based on customer needs is strong. My own background is fairly purely from software and product management, and from there I believe I can bring business insight and productisation tools to Aidon’s software product development, so that business goals and metrics are involved right from the start of the development work, Ville says.
Juha Järvenpää has been appointed Service Business Owner, responsible for development paths and productisation of Aidon’s digital metering and reading services.
– Digitalisation has been much talked about and it will significantly change the distribution service operators’ business. Our goal is to provide an even more flexible and versatile service platform which enables efficient integrations to deliver the collected data to the customers’ business processes. In addition, the service platform enables development of applications supporting the customers’ business operations, either together with Aidon or by the customers themselves. I’m very excited and happy to take the lead of these activities, Juha says.
